Tyquan Baisden pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in May, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
In October 2021, Jersey City police found Diamond Davila's dead at 131 Woodlawn Ave, Suarez said. The Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office determined she was killed by "homicidal violence, Suarez said.
Baisden was arrested by US Marshals in Asbury Park after two months on the lamb, Suarez said. Baisden was originally charged with first degree murder.
